Geo Expertise is active in the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as an essential tool for decision making in the fields of natural resources management as well as in social and economic research and human rights monitoring.
The group “Géomaticiens du Monde” offers it services to southern NGOs and aims at promoting the use of GIS as an indispensable decision-support tool in the areas of:
- Sustainable development,
- Natural resource management,
- Promotion of human rights.
The group supports associations in the collection of relevant geo-referenced data in order to make reasoned decisions in the aforementioned areas. The group also offers necessary support in GIS project design, integration of databases and data analysis.
